When I first saw these way back when I had just assumed that she didn’t want her name displayed in a really public way. (In this Facebook era some people still try to maintain some privacy.) I guess I was wrong.
That could very well be true. It’s not clear if the omission was a result of a Metro mistake or a request by the OOY herself. Her name was certainly all over the internets (in Metro press releases and et cetera) when she won, but then, she didn’t know she was going to win. She might have decided she didn’t want to be so public. Or, she might not have wanted her name on the buses. Or, maybe Metro just made a mistake. :)
